What is a prosthodontist?

A prosthodontist is a specialist dentist with an additional three years of university or hospital based training in advanced restorative and prosthetic dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, dentures, implants, full mouth reconstruction and more. Prosthodontists are considered the leaders of the dental treatment plan. They regularly lead teams of general dentists, specialists, and other health professionals to develop state-of-the-art solutions to your dental needs.
